Kim began helping to provide therapy to foster families in need in 2009, and found her clients had material needs as well as emotional needs. Through the generosity of friends, neighbors, and complete strangers, Kim has been able to provide what many take for granted. Yet to the families in need, these items, even bare essentials, they cannot afford. By dropping off at Kim's house, Kim delivers these goods to overwhelming appreciation. The Acheson Attic offers gently used goods to homes, foster homes, low income daycares, group homes, and others in Hillsborough, Pasco & Pinellas counties, with Kim as a liaison.
