Kimberly Acheson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been in practice for the past 24 years. From Tampa, she is seeing clients throughout Hillsborough, Pinellas & Pasco counties on a daily basis.

Kimberly has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults. She also works with adults suffering from anxiety, depression, marital issues, and dealing with everyday stressors &  life transitions. Kimberly provides individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, parenting training (i.e., behavior management training) at either of her two convenient office locations.

Working with individuals and families to devise a treatment plan that is tailored to the specific presenting problems that individuals and families want to address in therapy, Kimberly has extensive experience in treating depression, anxiety disorders, behavioral problems (e.g., ADHD, ODD, RAD, Conduct Disorder), self-injury, extensive history of trauma in youth, and sleep problems.
